Festival Overview

Street Seen will bring artists into the exhibition for the audience to engage directly with the creative process and the creator. The public can stumble upon an incredible selection of performance and visual art, an explosion of style and color from some of our finest urban artists.

In what promises to be the only event of its kind In Halifax; Street Seen wants to provide a weekend celebration of Urban Life! We invite you to immerse yourself in the contemporary, spontaneous and expressive urban art scene as expressed by Halifax’s best!

In September 2008, come to see us turn the asphalt streets and concrete walls of the city into a gallery of magnificent art. New and exciting innovations and attractions will be featured at what is sure to become the premiere event of its kind in Halifax. Street Seen wants to engage all of your senses with our unique exploration of urban life, and provide viewers with an altered perspective of the urban environment.
